HELP! PSB File corrupted and can't recover

Hello, I have a PSB file I have been working on for quite some time and it's seemingly unrecoverable... I have referred to other people's issues that share similarities to mine and have tried troubleshooting this issue to no avail. A common solution was to revert the file to a previous state as Windows has a feature to allow someone to do such. However, for some reason, even though my file has been opened, saved, and closed, there has been no previous file data consistently for some time now. Currently, if I open the file, there are no layers other than one black background layer. On top of that, the thumbnail for the file is black with some red lines through it. If anyone has any solutions to an issue like this please let me know!

Unless you have another version saved, there is little you can do to recover your file but for the future I would strongly recommend two actions:1. Start using incremental saves i.e. save the file as fileneame001.psb then filename002.psb....etc That way if you have corruption, or just make a mistake, you can always open the version before. When your project is complete you can always delete some earlier versions to recover diskspace.2. Implement a back up system. I, and others I know, use Macrium which saves full back ups monthy, differential backups weekly, and incremental backups daily. Reverting a single file, a disk, or even the whole computer, to an earlier state is straightforward. Dave
