Question

Help saving EPS file to JPG less than 150MB

I have zero experience with Adobe Photoshop.  I hired someone to create a logo for my company.  The JPG file I was given is low resolution, and when I try to use it in creating a photo book, the image is so far zoomed in that I only get parts of the logo.  I have the EPS file.  I have since downloaded Photoshop.  I'm on a time crunch and really need help!  The Save As function creates a JPG that is 600+MB.  Does anyone know how to create a JPG under 150MB that is less zoomed in?

What are the pixel dimensions of the JPG file? An EPS can be opened in Photoshop as well, but you size it on import.

The eps file is most likely vector and can be opened in Illustrator. If it is vector, it does not have resolution. Can you use the eps file as it is, or open it in Illustrator and save it in either Illustrator or PDF format?

I say "most likely" because I have seen some folks take a raster file and save it in eps.

EPS is considered an archaic format, btw. If it was created in Illustrator, then you should have been given a vector Illustrator file.
