whoever sees this please kindly take a look at this request for me. I pray that this place is the last stop - i have reached the end of the road on this one.  i have played with PS for over a decade, but i only dabble in the simplest of stuff. Once in a while i get requests from friends and family to airbrush their photos/images and i do what i can; ofc this is free. I am stuck on a current favor for so long it is driving me crazy, to a point i will even give a few bucks if needed for the help. Long story short i am looking for a script writer's help.

Attached are 4 pairs of images, in each pair  you have the original and the final airbrushed version. I am looking for a script that when run spits out images approximate to or better in quality to the final versions in the attached file. ofc for each image one will probably have to enter values for curves (or levels), run the script, and touch it up further.

currently I use CS2. I will appreciate the help so much.

The zip is still queued, meaning we can’t download and see the images yet.

Could You upload screenshots of on or two of the image pairs with the »Insert Image«-tool (the camera-symbol in the tools-panel)?

I downloaded the images and quite frankly I’m not sure there is a lot one (or at least I) can do to automate the corrections.

Because the scans seem pretty bad.

When scanning paper that has been printed on on both sides I’d recommend to put a black sheet behind the page so that the backside won’t appear as a ghost image; though I’m not sure that’s the problem here.

Those vertical stripes of varying brightness might also indicate that the Scanner needs to be cleaned or has to be re-calibrated.

The scans are also pretty small and de-screening is pretty difficult anyway; I’d recommend a search on that …

As for automatically applying Adjustment Layers are You sure You have exhausted the possibilities Actions provide (using the Toggle dialog on/off-field for example)?

How many pages are You supposed to edit anyway and are You sure You are not infringing on somebody’s copyrights?
