Hey there! Thank you for taking the time to read this and perhaps help me out, I currently create Twitch overlays and all that kinda thing, I'm currently trying to create a background animation similar to the one here at around 00:19:00 https://www.twitch.tv/videos/528077024 when he's actually playing, I don't care about the color changing, I more just want that kinda movement, from what I can tell its just one image that just floats across the screen and loops. Is this easily achieved with photoshop?

Hi!

It is -- when you know how it works.

First, you need to decide on an image, and if you want it to loop and not jump, you will want to create a seamless image. A seamless image starts and end with the same lines so that there are no sudden jerks as the image starts to loop again. You can do this, or just make sure that your image is wide enough so that as it scrolls, the video is done before the end of the background image is reached.

Second, you will want to learn how to use the Timeline in Photoshop:

Here is a page about animating a background:

https://helpx.adobe.com/search-results.html?q=animating+a+background+in+photoshop&scope=%5B%22helpx%22%5D&subscope=%5B%5D&limit=10&start_index=0&sort_orderby=relevancy&sort_order=desc&post_facet_filters=%7B%22applicable_products%22%3A%5B%5D%7D

And here is a link to how to use the Timeline in Photoshop:

https://helpx.adobe.com/search-results.html?q=Using+the+timeline+in+Photoshop&scope=%5B%22helpx%22%5D&subscope=%5B%5D&limit=10&start_index=0&sort_orderby=relevancy&sort_order=desc&post_facet_filters=%7B%22applicable_products%22%3A%5B%5D%7D

I think these will help answer your questions. But if you do still have a question, let us know!
