Here's my action to split a layer into color channels (TV effect)

Once in a while I see myself creating that "TV effect" where some of the color channels are not aligned (for example, magenta and cyan) and doing that over and over again, it's time consuming so today I've created an action. I'm sharing that with the community, if that's useful to some of you.

Basically it converts the original layer into a smart object, in case you want to edit it later, creates all the duplicates, assigns the 6 colors (cyan, magenta, yellow, blue, green, red) and then groups everything together. All layers end up labeled with the color it represents, so it's super easy to find what you need. Just pick the color(s) you want and hide the other ones. You're good to go! 😊
