Question

History panel is not closing, have to check every time I want to use it

Hi There,

I find the History panel is not keeping the settings, when I check it from one Photoshop edit session to the next CC forgets about it and it does not open it up with all my other panels. I customised my workspace.

The other thing is when I close or minimise CC the history panel remains open on my desktop, I have to click on it separately to make it disappear which means it un-checks itself and if I open Photoshop up next time it will not be there, I have to check it to open it separately again. Even if I set it in my own arranged workspace preferences it behaves the same way. Or if I use the photography preferences. It really has a mind of its own. Never had this problem on any other versions of Photoshop before.

Working on an iMac 5K and Yosemite 10.10.5.

Anyone met this problem before? Any solutions? Thanks.

can you post a screenshot? Is the panel docked or floating? I suspect it's floating. Have you tried docking it to the side so you can pop it open when needed but keep it docked?
