How do I change what option+shift does when transforming an image or layer(infuriating)

In Adobe illustrator and in Figma, we use option+shift on the Mac or alt+shift on PC it Transforms all sides equally, unfortunately, when doing this, in Photoshop, it skews the image.  It's kind of infuriating, to have different shortcuts for different applications especially within Adobe.

How can I change this?

I also want to change zoom in, zoom out, with mouse scroll, to command or control as it is similar to Figma. My hand autmatically goes to option or Alt

Thank you

Uncheck Zoom wIth Scroll Wheel in Preferences > Tools. In Photoshop use Ctrl + Spacebar to temporary activate Zoom In, add Alt to activate Zoom out.

A more logical way to phrase the request would be to ask Figma to change their shortcuts, since Photoshop has been around longer and has established conventions.

Thank you, I did know about Ctrl + Spacebar and alt + Spacebar very early on, I'll be using these now though, as I don't want to conflict with Figma.

If you want the obsolete behaviour uncheck the »Maintain aspect ratio«-button (the chain-icon) in the Options Bar or check Photoshop > Preferences > General > Use Legacy Free Transform.

Thank you, it solved the problem, I tried AI and google search to find a solution to this, but to no avail, you rock 🤘🎸

You beat AI(for now 😅), hands down.
