How do I crop with "delete cropped pixels" unchecked in a script

I need to use crop feature with "delete cropped pixels" unchecked in a script.  Is that possible?

Your mentioning »delete cropped pixels« does make it clear that you don’t mean Edit > Crop, but why call it »crop feature« instead of »Crop Tool« as is its name?

What version of Photoshop?

Are you familiar with the ScriptingListener.plugin?

I'm using cs6 and I've used the ScriptListener plugin but I was hoping for a cleaner solution.  I guess there isn't an option to disable "delete cropped pixels" from a script?
