HOW DO I DOWNGRADE TO PHOTOSHOP v22.1?

adobe updated my version of photoshop to v25.5 without my permission and the only version of v22 I can downgrade to is v22.2. This issue is really making me angry.

In the future, don't have automatic updates enabled.  Turn it off in the CC app. All software that I know of has an option to either update automatically or not - but I do agree that the default should always be "off". In the CC app, the default is "on".

 

Adobe offer only the current major version + one previous. That has been the policy for some years now - but in addition, they still keep version 22 available because it was the last stable version for 3D (which has now been removed from Photoshop).

 

It should still be possible to get other previous CC installers here:

https://prodesigntools.com/ 

This is a "semi-official" site run by one of the Community Experts here in the forum.
