can you direct me to steps on how to import a google earth image to photoshop? thanks

    In Google Earth Pro, after choosing a location and seeing the image, click on the blue symbol (rightmost arrow above) and then click on the Save Image option shown by the leftmost red arrow.  (Note map option and resolution option.) You will be prompted for a file name and destination. Choose your desktop. It will deposit a jpg file there.

    Next step: Open Photoshop and open the saved file.

    To add to what Norman said, if you have a document already open you can use File>Place then choose embed or linked to place the image in another layer, without affecting the document already open.
