    Just cut out the subject and put a black layer beneath it.This is how to do it.

    Have you followed the videos in the links you provided? They do show how to do what you are asking. If you have tried, at what stage are you getting stuck?

    Simmer1​ Your video doesn't show how to put the subject on a black background! The subject is not even separated from its original bg.

    Thanks for your message.

    The original video Isabelle posted with her question already shows how to separate the model from the background but does not show how the black background Layer was originally created. That is why I created the short video.

    Isabelle did say she is new to Photoshop,
