How do I make this look more realistic?

I want a bright white background like this but don't want it to look so cut out and pasted if that makes sense? I've tried using drop shadows before and wasn't thrilled.. it kind of looked like a fake shadow. Is there any other way to make this look more natural? Thank you in advance!! Ps..client says to "make it not look like it was photoshopped"
