Question

How do I produce a GIF in PS CC?

I open the frames I want in the GIF in PS and those are the open files.

Open Timeline, and the Timeline and choose 'Create Frame Animation'.

Click Menu icon in top right hand side of Timeline and the 'Make Frames From Layers' is not there, not the same options at all.

What is it I'm doing wrong?

I wanted to go into chat but adobe wouldn't let me so I have wasted sooooo much time trying to find this on the forum and it's doing my nut in. No patience left.

What do you mean by open frames you want in the gif.  When you create the Frame animatione timeline palette.  How many Layer are in your Photoshop Document.   If only Make From Layers should be there but grayed out.

If you converted your frame animation to a video timeline The menu will be for a video editing not for editing a frame animation editing.

I open the 3 jpgs in a stack in PS, then I open Timeline window. Then the menu icon top right of Timeline window and I get this - nothing about making frames from layers. So frustrating.

Thank you but I was using that info already. When I get to step 3 opening the menu icon top right of Timeline window, I do not get those options. I get these options and that is where I can't go any further...….
