How do I recover work that has been overwritten by the original image?
Hi everyone! So I finished editing a photo in Photoshop which I had imported from Lightroom. I saved it a couple of times as I worked and was able to see the edit's duplicate update in Lightroom with each save. After I had finished editing the one photo. and several other images, I went back through Photoshop closing every Photoshop window I had open. When I came across the edited photo in question and closed its window I again saved my work, HOWEVER for whatever reason the photo automatically reverted back to its original image, saving it both in Photoshop and Lightroom in TIFF format. All evidence of my work on the photo was gone, its history wiped clean as if I had just imported the image in Photoshop for the first time from Lightroom. My question is this: Is there any way I can recover my edited photo on photoshop from its newly saved TIFF format? I would prefer not to go back and start editing said photo again from scratch.
