Question

How do I replace this background image?

I had something made for me and I am unable to replace the background image on this. I asked the maker and she said to watch youtube videos. That is easier said than done when you don't know what keywords to type in to find the solution. Basically we have a lot of layers and one background layer is an image.  I have attached a video of my view. I have the newest version of photoshop.

You need to scroll to the top of the layer stack.  I suspect there might a merged layer which is covering your new background.  Think of layers as a stack of printed images and parts of images. The ones on top cover the ones underneath them.  Your new background appears to be in the correct position. You just need to find the layer or layers that are covering it and turn them off by clicking on there eye icon.

This is a Photoshop layered document. Simply select the layers of the image that are what you would define as the part or all of the Background you wish to replace.  Then delete those and replace them with the background layers or images you want to use by copying the image and pasting them into the same places the background layers were deleted from.
