I'm trying to select all pixels in a png picture and I can't find the option to do that. I'm new to Photoshop and used to working in Pixlr. I don't want to use the magic wand because it is small text and I don't want to miss anything. I also can't figure out the gradient feature. How do I get that to work?

cmd/ctrl + A

If you're new to Photoshop it would be good to take some lessons. Lynda.com have some excellent online video tutorials and you can get a 10-day free trial.

I've been watching a ton of videos. Haven't found anything on how to select the pixels tho. I had not heard of Lynda.com but will definitely watch them. Thank you for the information.
