How is such BG created? (I'm sorry if this topic is more suitable for the Illustrator community)

Hello everyone! Hope you're all having a good day 🙂

 

I am currently looking for album cover ideas and I came across one that I like! I was just wondering how the background was created. I like how different it is. I would like to take inspiration from this and modify it (no I do not want to copy it haha). So if anyone has any idea please let me know!

    Filter Render Clouds

    Filter Distort Ocean Ripple (Glass is similar but a bit less severe.

      One way to recreate the look would be with images from Adobe Stock's Free Collection such as:

       

      1. Place (File > Place Embedded...) the red background
      2. Place the fingerprint (duplicate, resize, rotate, and flip as needed)
      3. Invert (Image > Adjustments > Invert) the fingerprint so that it appears white and its background is black
      4. Change the Blend mode in the Layers panel for the fingerprint from Normal to Screen
      5. Adjust the Opacity for the fingerprints in teh Layers panel as needed
      6. Add some blur (Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur) to the fingerprints (adjust the slider as needed)--alternatively, you could rasterize a fingerprint and use the Smudge tool or the Blur tool to make the blur less uniform.
