how to a create a home screen shortcut to photoshop

This is bad.  I don't have an icon for Photo Shop on my desktop screen.  Every time I want to use Photo Shop I have to go in backwards; clicking on a photo to use.

    Well then place a Shortcut, Windows, or Alias, Mac, of the PS .exe, Windows, or .app, Mac, on your desktop or pin it to the Start bar, Window, or place it in the Dock, Mac.

    Instructions on how to do either can easily be found with a Google search.

    If you are using a Mac, did you:

    Click on the Finder in the Dock?

    Choose Applications, and locate the Photoshop folder?

    Choose the Photoshop file with .app?

    Drag it down to the Dock?
