How to create shape made of white lines and graphic visable only on these lines?

I want create white shape made of lines like on image. Theres empty space between every line. Sketch image should be placeable on lines. Sorry for my poor english but its hard to descibe to me.

You can use the halftone filter and choose the line pattern. Then rotate it to get the angle you want. You can then use multiply blend mode so that the sketch shows through the white lines.
