How to create these looks?

New to photoshop and also new to this forum. I'm interested in sports graphic design and am looking to learn new techniques. I'm looking for tips and advice on how to achieve these effects - trying to expand my Photoshop horizons 🙂

(specifically the effects on the 3D Olympic rings and 3D text as well as the color/gradient/duotone effects on the skin of the athletes) thank you!!

Please post an image you want to edit thusly.

For the Rings I would recommend doing it »properly« in a 3D application.

Illustrating them in Photoshop does not seem impossible but not necessarily efficient.
