How to downgrade from catalina

What is the newest software Cs6 Photoshop works on?

I have just installed Catalina, my cs6 does not work and I have just read all the issues Catalina has with Photoshop. I can't believe Adobe are happy to take our money every month, basically force us to pay for a subscribtion and Photoshop doesn't even work on the new software! How can I downgrade back to an earlier version so I can use my Photoshop cs6??

As part of your plan, you have access to earlier versions if there is a problem and of course other language versions if you speak a language other than English. All of this would cost extra even if you could find it back in the CS days.

I've had the subscription for years and $10 a month is not much to ask for constant upgrades to new major versions plus the iPad version.

I finally went to Catalina and it does fine on my 2012 Macbook Pro. Plus I finally have PSB thumbnails.

CS6 stopped updating around 2013 and is too old for Catalina.

So here's how to downgrade:

By the way if you have a subscription CS6 it is lost forever now because you can’t reinstall it

That's impossible. OSX is a one-way road ever since Maverick or so. You can go forward but not back due to the changes in the file system. That is of course unless you care to do a hard wipe and start from scratch, though even that may not be possible after the boot ROM got updated.
