How to edit a person's body in a video using Photoshop CC

Hello,

I'm trying to edit my first video in Photoshop CC.  I want edit the body of one of the people in the video, want to make it look slimmer.

Tried using liquify but no success. Checked out a few YouTube videos but none address this.

Any help is appreciated.  Maybe it's not possible?

Thanks!

What Mr. Pfaffenbichler said. Wrong tool. Editing video in PS is like attempting to paint a fence with a lipstick...

Lutz, you are pretty good with After Effects.  Is what the OP is asking actually doable on a moving image?  It seems like a big ask to track an object and make it look slimmer.

Remember the first MCU Captain America movie?

I doubt they did it with After Effects but supposedly they made the pre-transformation Steve Rogers skinnier digitally in many shots as he was being played by Chris Evans, too.

It seems to me you are trying to use the »wrong« tool, After Effects would seem like a better fit for such relatively complex video editing (I am assuming that the person is moving in the video).

Ok.  Thanks!  I'll check out After Effects.

You can do some editing of video in Photoshop.  Saw a few YouTube videos about.  But you can't do what I desire.
