How to export JPGs at 240ppi and sRGB Color Space?

I'm completely at a loss here...

I am currently designing a calendar, and for that I'd like to export a JPG with 240ppi in sRGB or AdobeRGB Color Space from a ProPhoto Tif in Photoshop.

When I use Web Export, it will automatically get exported in sRGB but 72ppi. When I use Save As, I can export as a jpg with 240ppi but only in ProPhoto Color Space, and I get weird artifacts and color fringing in my JPGs (because ProPhoto Colorspace seems to be pretty useless/problematic in that regard).

so: How can I get a 240ppi, sRGB/AdobeRGB JPG from a ProPhoto .TIFF in Photoshop?

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Presuming batches of files… File > Scripts > Image Processor (or the separate 3rd party Image Processor Pro script) will preserve the PPI metadata and allow conversion to sRGB when saving out a JPEG file and additionally process using an optional action.

Hi

Actually when you export for web the file is saved without any ppi resolution setting. That is because the web is screen based and ppi is pretty meaningless. The 72 ppi that you see is allocated as a default when a file that has no resolution metadata is opened.

If you need the file saved with a resolution metadata setting then use Convert to Profile sRGB followed by Save As
