how to export my "action" in photoshop to a other computer (PC)

I created a new action and want to save/export it to use on another computer.  In the actions drop-down menu, the Save function is not hi-lited, and is unavailable.  Why?  How can I save/export this action?

Hi Brian

Instead of selecting the action, you need to select the action set (the folder), then you can save the action set with all of the actions that are in it.

Thanks!  I saved it in the Actions folder.  But how to save to the desktop or export?

Hi Brian,

An Action set is a file with a .atn extension. You can copy and paste it as you would any file. Use the Action panel menu to load the action set into PS on the new computer.

When you save your Action set, you can see where it is saved. Here is a screenshot from Mac — it should be similar in Window
