Hey Guys!

Some People have this issue and are in need of a quick fix.

In this Post i show you what fixed the following Issue:

My Issues:

- Couldn't Drag & Drop Images from my Desktop into Photoshop, no matter what filetype i was using.

- Couldn't even Properly shut down Photoshop, and had to use TaskManager.

==> Gives me a "The operation could not be carried out because a program error occurred." Error.

My Fix:

- Go to Edit>Preferences>Performance and disable the Checkbox "Use Graphics Processor"

Only do that if you have no GPU in your Setup installed.

You can also allocate more RAM for Photoshop, that way.

I Hope it helped you, since it fixed my issue.

My Setup:

CPU: AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight-Core Processor, 3500 MHz, 4 Cores, 8 Threads

MAINBOARD: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 6.0

GPU: None ATM

OS: Windows 10 / Version 10.0.19041 Build 19041
