Question

How to get adobe to call back when promised

I have two case numbers, the first I have lost from a call that lasted 2 hours and a woman who said she would call me back when my updated version of photoshop had loaded, she said she would be watching my screen to see when it was uploaded, and told me there was no need to stay on teh phone!!! Well that is disturbing in itself and not something I thought about at the time, no screen sharing should last longer than the call! No email was sent to say screen sharing had terminated and of course I never heard back from her!!!!

Next call case number 0188386183 - again i was promised someone would call me back as the person who answered the call couldnt help me (and a time between 8 and 10 am the next morning was agreed upon). I stayed by my mobile all morning and didnt make an outside call for fear of missing adobe support!!!! NO ONE called!

About a week later I get an email saying I did not respond to the call they made during that time - bollocks!!!!!!!!! Nobody called.

Since then I have received 2 calls over about 2 weeks from adobe, one left a message as I was unavailable the other called on a Friday night (last night) after 8pm when I was not able to be in front of my computer!!!!

I have had very strange names come up under the sharing menu on my mac computer, for all I know someone at adobe could have kept the screen sharing up and breached my privacy not to mention my security.

Extremely poor customer service and very unethical not to send emails in regards to signing off screen sharing. I have had to put blocks up in my computer to ensure my security.

Although Adobe employees sometimes comment, this is a user-to-user forum. Though your matter does sound serious (from the point of view of security) and an announcement on Adobe policy on telephone support would be helpful.

Thanks Derek, No I didnt imagine they did, however when it is impossible to get any service (as it seems to be these days) I thought I'd give this a whirl! I think their care factor is pretty low however. Its a pity because their products are great.
