How to get rid of harsh lines

Hi there,

Very new to photoshop and trying to watch tutorials and learn as I go. I am making clipart and as you can by the picture provided, parts of my images are coming out very pixel like? around the edges. The more I zoom in the worse it gets. Does anyone have any suggestions. This image is upscaled 3000x3000 and 300 DPI

It will always show pixelation above 100%.  The higher you go, the more pixelation.

Is that your own work?  It's nicely done if you are new to Photoshop.

Peru Bob is correct that you need to view at 100%. Photoshop is raster (pixels). If you don't want pixels, you can use Illustrator, which is vector so you can zoom or scale as much as you want.

In addition, Dots per Inch (DPI) is not one of your choices — you'll find that setting on your printing device. In Photoshop for iPad you can choose either Pixels per Inch (PPI) (the default) or Pixels per CM (PPCM).

Thanks for the reply! I guess I had planned to use this as clipart for people to use and worry what it will look like printed if it is pixelated like that
