Question

How to make a custom preset default?

I have a favorite Curves preset which I have saved and named. However, when I hit cmd-M the dialog box always offers some other default and I have to search the drop-down menu for my preset. How can I make my favorite preset the default so I don’t have to dig for it every time?

After you open Curves and use your preset, use Cmd-Option-M to open curves with that preset already selected.

You could also record an Action and bind it to a Function key.

Cmd-Option-M works great. Thanks.

I'll have to research that second suggestion as I have no idea how to do it.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Actually, I just found this site and posted one question which was answered (thank you very much); this is my second question, for which I'm still hoping for a reply. I never signed up. I have no idea why you think I am Richard29848975yyhu. (I'm not.)

When you post a question you always need to tell the Adobe program you are using
There are MANY programs in a full subscription, plus other non-subscription programs
Please post the exact name of the Adobe program you use so a Moderator may move this message to that forum
