How to make all the "photos" the same background size?

I've stack loaded them into Photoshop.

So I'm trying to make all these logos have the same exact background size so I can use the same size for a Repeater on Editor X. The problem is when they are different sizes, some are cropped off at the top, or the sides.

How do I make it where I can quickly and easily export all to be the same size without loss of image quality as resizing some of them could result in image quality being lost? (vector, Adobe Illustrator?)

I can put everything in "manually" as there isn't that many there but I want to know if a solution for what I'm asking is possible just incase I have a lot to do in the future I can use it.

Presuming that all images need to be the same visual size on the longest edge, start with images larger than the target size.

Us the automate > fit image command to proportionally resize to a common square pixel size. This can be recorded into an action.

Use canvas size to ensure that all images have the same pixel width/height with a common anchor point for resizing. Tthis can be recorded into an action, just record the process on a dummy image that has not been through fit image so that both width and height size changes are recorded. The square canvas size would be the same as the fit image size.

All of this can be run through a batch action.
