How to Open Adobe Photoshop Image.19 Files in Photoshop CC 2018

Question

I use the app Infinite Painter on my tablet, and I've saved a couple of these .pntr files as .psd files so I could edit them further using Photoshop. These files have a Type of "Adobe Photoshop Image.19."

However, I'm unable to open these .psd files using Photoshop CS6 or CC 2018; I get the message, "Could not complete your request because the file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop."

This isn't the case with all these .pntr-saved-as-.psd files, though -- some DO open, and I don't know the rhyme or reason why it works on some occasions and not others.

How do I open these Adobe Photoshop Image.19 files using Photoshop CC 2018?

post a link to one of the .psd that fail to open photoshop.image.19 is a .psd file and should be associated with photoshop. the files may be bad .psd files
