Question

How to Open Illustrator iPad doc (Cloud docs) in Photoshop on the IPad

Hello - I'm new to using iPad versions of Illustrator and Photoshop so please understand if this is a dumb question. But I created a document yesterday in Illustrator on the iPad and assumed I would easily be able to open it in Photoshop on the iPad. But I can't figure out how to do it.

On the Photoshop Home Screen, under "Your Files", I see only documents that I created within the PS ipad app. From "import and open," I can access my Creative Cloud synced files. But from nowhere can I seem to access Cloud files that weren't created w/in PS on the iPad. (Or, for that matter, if I go to Illustrator on the iPad, I see only the files that I created within Illustrator on the iPad and nothing that I created in PS on the iPad.)

If I open the Creative Cloud app on my iPad I can see the Illustrator iPad file under Cloud docs, and if I use my laptop, I can find the Cloud docs on the Creative Cloud web site. But how do I access these Cloud doc from within the Photoshop app? I've found some help documents from Adobe say that there should be a Cloud Documents section under "Your Files" in the Photoshop app's Home Screen, but for the life of me, I can't find this section.

All of my apps are up-to-date on the iPad. My iPad is running 16.5.1 and it's a 5th Gen iPad Pro.

Thank you!

Photoshop and Illustrator for desktop do this really well with lots of choices.

On the iPad, one thing you can do is to Export your Illustrator image to a PNG or PSD, then open that file in Photoshop. Both formats support transparency; JPEG does not.

Ok. So seems it's not possible to access Illustrator iPad cloud docs outside of Illustrator, except as via an export. Not ideal, but ok. Thanks.
