hello, I don't think your message should be in this conversation.
Thank you.

Hi @Eloi5ECE

I've marked the post from NAM LE THANH as spam and that message has been removed from your conversation.

If you save and close all documents before quitting Photoshop, do you still see that message?

hello jane, no I don't think it would always appear, but precisely when I'm working on a photo I export it to a folder and I don't save it, because I don't want to. I have friends who don't need to save before closing the document and this is what I want to do.
thank you in advance for your help.

Hi @Eloi5ECE ,

The only way to avoid seeing a message asking you if you want to save changes before closing documents before quitting is to not have any documents open that are not saved. Like you, I also don't want to save every image.

Here's what I do:

  • Cmd+W: Shortcut for File > Save (Ctrl+W on Windows)
  • 😧 Shortcut for "Don't Save" in the dialog (I'm not sure what it is in Windows, but the letter should have an underline
  • Cmd+Q: Quit Application (In Windows, I think it's Alt+F4, but Ctrl+Q may work. Look in File > Quit to see the shortcut.

For me, it's pretty fast because I do it enough: Cmd+W > D > Cmd+Q.

You could write an Action to close without saving if you really need it, then assign it to a keyboard shortcut. IMHO having this message does more good than harm, as otherwise folks might accidentally Quit and lose a lot of work.
