When I render clouds, it uses my foreground color and my background color to make red and black clouds. I want the black gone so that I just have red clouds with transparent patches. Is there a way to do this?

Fill a layer with red and add a layer mask. Apply render clouds to the layer mask. Use black and white for the colors.
