How to revert "move" / v to old style?

In older versions of PS, if you clicked the move tool and clicked anywhere in the document and moved your mouse, you'd move the layer.  Now, if you click anywhere aside from that layer with the move tool, it acts like you're going to select something. Thus, it forces you to click the thing you want to move to move it.  Annoying (abuse removed by moderator).
