how to save image in batch action without overwriting name and number

In Ps 2021 a batch action (with also f.i. resize, other extension etc.) is made to save an image in some folder.

All is being executed, but it also changes name and/or numer of the newly treated image into the name/number of the image the batch was created with.

This never was the case in earlier Ps programs. Saving it as a copy wont salve the problem. Changing in preference to 'older version' wont help.

Example: Batch is made of an image 'football 22.tif', resize, make it 8 bits and save it as a jpg in folder X.

When processing image 'rugbyball 26' with this batch, it saves the image with the changes as required, but as 'football 22', removing the original 'football 22' in the X folder.
