hello

so i'm new to Photoshop and i made some stickers using the quick selection tool , the stickers appears on its layer and the background stays the same

my problem is when I save the file it does't save my final work it just keeps saving the original picture my work cannot be saved I don't know why

what I did is I exported the layer as jpeg but the quality wasn't good , is that how you save your final work ? or is there anyway to blend all the layers with the original picture so ti becomes one final Image that can be saved as Jpeg

I hope you understood what I mean I don't know if I explained it right

thank you

Oh, and don't export a layer, because it's just a layer, unless that's what you want. Use SAVE AS or the regular EXPORT or SAVE FOR WEB.

To save your final work you always save TWO things. Typically

    1. The PSD file. When you need to edit more, or fix things, you go back to the PSD.

    2. The "deliverable" such as a JPEG. This will be lower quality. You NEVER EDIT IT IN ANY WAY. If you need changes go back to the PSD.

Don't forget to save the PSD as you work, with new names, so you can go back after a disaster.
