how to shorten page

does anyone know how to shorten the depth of the photoshop work page?

i can make it not so wide... but it is way to long and is getting cut off on the bottom

any tips?

    I'm more a Windows user, but what happens with you click the maximize button (green top left - I think)? This should make PS fill the monitor, and it should be sticky, so the next time you open it will be the same.

    I'm not too sure what you mean. Are you wanting to crop, or is the application not filling the monitor properly? Can you post a screen shot?

    Hi and thanks for your reply... yes it is a monitor problem. When i launch Photoshop it automatically opens to this size. it goes right to the bottom of my monitor. i can see the sides so i can click on the edge of the window and make it not so wide.

    but i can not see the bottom so i can not click onto it to make it smaller or not so deep... any tips on how to grab the lower right hand corner of this window so i can change size? thanks
