How to stop recently opened photos from showing

with the new update, when i open CC it displays the recently opened files in picture form. I don;t want this. I know i can clear them but I can;t seem to find the setting to shut this off.

Alternatively, if you would like the list of files - but not in image (thumbnail) form, just as a list - there's an option at the top right of the display that allows you to toggle between the two views. The list view also has file details, so can be useful
