How to turn off font preview when searching for font

Can I turn of the font preview when I scroll through font list? I still would like font preview in list I just want to turn off the feature of it changing in my document

There isn't such built in option to disable temporary or permanently font preview when scrolling through font list. Only option that comes to my mind, if you know which font you want to use is to search for font and select it without need to scroll through entire list.
