Question

HSL Sliders in LR and Photoshop

I am attempting to create a LUT in Photoshop but I have noticed the HSL sliders in Photoshop are defaulted to amounts other than zero and the orange and purple colors are not present in Photoshop. I have created HSL settings in LR and want to recreate them in Photoshop to create a LUT. For example my setting is -20 Red (B&W photo). Do I simply start at 40 (default in Photoshop) and bring the slider down by 20 so that the red slider in Photoshop is now at 20 (40 minus 20) or is there some other equivalency? Or is there some way for me to export the setting from LR to Photoshop?

Thank you

Michel

You could make your Profile (LUT) in camera raw and use it in Camera Raw or Filter>Camera Raw Filter.

Actually i believe you should be able to make the Profile in Lightroom and use it in camera raw as well.

Download the Profiles SDK (April 2018) for instructions on how.
