HUION GT-220 V2- Pressure sensitivity completely cut out

I have been using this tablet for a few months, and generally it's been working fine. However, recently, pen pressure/sensitivity has completely cut out and this is ONLY within photoshop - all other software works. Whatever I do, pen pressure has a triangle and exclamation mark, and it simply won't work. I have tried:

Installing the latest Huion drivers.

Reinstalling Photoshop.

Enabling "SupportTabletPC" in the Huion settings.

Disabling "SupportTabletPC" in the Huion settings.

Creating a text file called "PSUserConfig.txt" within the CC 2017 settings folder containing

"# Use WinTab

UseSystemStylus 0".

Restarting my PC (obviously).

Keep in mind I am using a HUION tablet, on many other threads I've seen lots of advice for Wacom tablets such as installing their drivers which will not work for me obviously.

EDIT: After reinstalling the latest drivers, pressure sensitivity seems to have shut off in EVERYTHING now. Even more help required.

EDIT AGAIN: The old software, "PenDisplay 12.2.16.160527" recognises the tablet. The new software, simply "Huion Tablet", does not. The device ONLY works AT ALL with the first one. Using the second one only it's recognised but completely dysfunctional.
