I am opening a PDF I received from architects; The created this pdf with autocad. I want to change the colors and save it as a PDF, but the quality is lower than before, even though all my PDF settings are correct.
I'd use Illustrator (although I haven't tried to open Autocad-generated files, I imagine it should work well).
The public perception of Photoshop as a universal tool for everything isn't correct. There are some things it really isn't equipped to do, like vector data and text.
Photoshop is a pixel-based raster image editor. It's not suitable for editing vector content.
Illustrator should handle Autocad files better.
