Question

I can't access Photoshop because of Creative Cloud

Several years ago, I purchased Photoshop software and had it installed on my computer. I was using it successfully and decided to try Lightroom, also. I downloaded Lightroom from the Adobe website and in order to use it, I had to purchase a subscription to the Creative Cloud Photography plan. The CC Photo plan included access to Photoshop, even though I already had the software. Now my CC Photo subscription is expired and I'm not using Lightroom enough to justify paying for it again. But now, when I try to access Photoshop, all I get is an alert that my subscription is expired. But I already own the Photoshop software!

This is frustrating because it's like my computer and/or the Adobe software the keeps me from accessing my apps is confused. Like it doesn't recognize that there is Photoshop software on my computer separate from the Creative Cloud. And I can't find my Photoshop box to get the access codes because it was several years ago that I bought it and I never had any issues with it until now.

Any advice?

Uninstall all of Adobe software. Download Adobe Cleaner and run it  to make sure your system has been cleared of all  of Adobe Creative cloud software.. Then install your old Perpetual version of Photoshop.

Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

Okay, so how do I install my old version of Photoshop without the serial number? Like I mentioned, I can't find the box that I bought years ago (we've moved several times since then) with the serial number on it.
