I can't create a new file in Photoshop 2020

When I open photoshop it's the usual grey space, When I click 'File' it gives me all of the usual options and the only thing that doesn't work is 'New', Nothing happens when I click it, I've restarted my PC a couple of times and I just wanted to check if there's a way to resolve this before I uninstall and reinstall.

Thanks for the help, I realised that I needed to tick 'Use Legacy "New Document" Interface' 🙂 All fixed now!

Just do this: go to “Edit > Preferences”: Go to the “General” tab, then tick the “Use Legacy Free Transform” option: Click “Ok” to apply this change. That's it!

Pamela, the question that was posted (and answered) two years ago was about creating a new document, not about transforming pixels. Thanks for trying though.

For testing purposes, try Cmd+N (Ctrl+N on Windows) to see if that works. And instead of uninstall/reinstall, it's better to reset Preferences from Preferences > General > Restore Prefences on Quit.
