I Can't Open Google Earth KMZ Files in Photoshop 2021

Hi,

I can't seem to open google earth KMZ files in photoshop; every time I try I get the message "the file could not be parsed". When I first encountered this issue I did find a related post, which can be found here:

I followed those suggestions to no avail. Could I have some help please as this is holding up a lot of work.
