    Hi

As JJMack has asked - have you got the correct Codec installed?

On the second issue "Can't import video frames to layers with bigger mp4 files", how big are the files in terms of frames?  Photoshop layer limit was 8000 layers (I am not sure if that has changed). That would equate to less than 4.5 minutes at 30 fps.

Do you have the required codex that the MP4 was recorded with installed on your ststem so that MP4 can be decoded on your machine. Post a link to your mp4

Did the message state which dll was not available.  I would not think that an Photoshop open that did not open would delete a video file in a folder or corrupt a video file in a folder on your syste..  Are you sure Files are being delete and corrupted by Photoshop?

Try Resetting you Photoshop preferences. Photoshop should not be deleting and corrupting video files like that.
