Question

I can't open Photoshop + GMU issue

Whenever I try to open Photoshop CS6, I receive a message saying that "I don't have the required authorization(s)": if I turn on the computer and open the app, it works normally, but if I close it and try to open it again this message constantly pops up.

Do I have to update it? And if yes, how does the update file work?
Because I've downloaded one but it won't work, no matter what I do.

Plus, about the GMU issue, how do I resolve it, considering that I can't do the "open the app-change settings-shut it down-reopen it" thing?

Thanks in advace to whoever will help me.

If you download CS6 you should be able to install an activate it using your CS6 serial number. If your CS6 serial was for an Upgrade you will also need your CS5 serial.

What does GMU stand for

I'll try to look for the serial number, but I don't know where to find it because I installed it from a CD.

Also, I didn't realise that I wrote it in Italian but GMU is that graphic memory thing that people usually fix by changing the preferences.

In English I think you are referring to Photoshop  VRAM requirements which a hardware requirement  that Adobe features that use your Display Adapter's GPU has for the features to be supported.  Files should open with or without those feature enabled.

What is the message you get I would need it translated into English.  VRAM issues can not be fix by a preference but GPU support can be disabled by unchecking use graphic processor in your performance preferences.
