I can't paint or use the bucket tool???

so basically, i just download the latest version of photoshop the CC 2017 and everytime i want to paint nothing happens. I've tried resetting the bucket tool by clicking on 'reset tools' but that still doesn't work. The option for picking a colour for foreground, I can't click on it, it won't let me.

Check the paint bucket tool option bar make sure blend mode is normal opacity hihn and forground color is being used..

As long as I have the screenshot, you can right-click on the icon and try a Reset if needed.
