Question

I can't update Photoshop to v19.1.4

My colleague has just updated Photoshop v19.1.4. I am running v19.0. I always use the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app to check and install any updates but it says that ALL of my adobe apps are up to date. The same goes for Illustrator. I'm running v22.0.0 but my colleague is running v22.1. We all use Creative Cloud for Teams. Does anyone know why Creative Cloud does not recognise that my Adobe software is not the latest version?

    Hi

    Take a look here

Available updates not listed for Adobe Creative Cloud applications

Also try signing out of the Creative Cloud and uninstalling the Creative Cloud Desktop app and then reinstall

Uninstall the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application

If that doesn't help you can download the most recent versions from here

    Download Creative Cloud apps

    Hi Ged,

    Thanks for the help.

OK, so I uninstalled the Creative Cloud desktop app and reinstalled it. This didn't work. I downloaded the latest Photoshop software using the link you kindly supplied. And here is where it becomes a little baffling. The new software still says it's v19.0, the same as the Photoshop version I was replacing/updating. However, I did exactly the same thing with Adobe Illustrator and that has been updated but not to the same version that my colleague is running. My colleague is running Illustrator v22.1 and the latest version I just downloaded is v 22.0.1.

This appears to be a common problem within our studio. Three out of five of us that use Adobe are being told by Creative Cloud that our software is up-to-date, when two of my colleagues that use the exact same hardware and software have newer versions. Something in our systems isn't recognising or making the link to the software update.

    Best regards
