I cannot open canon 5d markIV files in cs6

how can I over come issue: I bought a canon 5d mark IV. and I cannot open files on Mac using cs6 photoshop. I tried using updates in help but didnt work..grant

    Photoshop cs6 can only use up to the 9.1.1 camera raw plugin and that camera requires camera raw 9.7 or newer.

    Cameras supported by Camera Raw

    You can use the adobe dng converter to convert the cr2 files to dng copies which cs6 should then open.
